BSP gets high marks from International Team

The Boy Scouts of the Philippines youth program, financial and adult resources management, public relations and communication strategies got high marks from a visiting group of Scouters sent by the Asia-Pacific Regional Scout Committee to assess BSP's performance in said areas.
The team, called the Committee on NSO (National Scout Organization) Visit, was in the country on January 15 to 17 for the three-day performance review. The visit was aimed at assessing the performance of each Scout organization in the Asia Pacific and to give recommendations in an effort to continually improve the quality of Scouting in the Region.
Headed by Regional Scout Committee Vice Chairman Mohammed Ali Khalid and members Dr. Mohammed Mukhyuddin , APR Award Committee Chairman Hj Zainal Abidin bin Penghulu HJ Ibrahim and Oh Sang Gyoon, Regional Director Abdullah Rasheed and APR Youth Program Director Syd Castillo, the team listened to accomplishment reports from heads of divisions of the BSP national office to assess its performance from youth program to financial management.
Rasheed, told BSP executives that the team was pleased with BSP's accomplishment in various areas and expressed "hope that the BSP will continue to work and implement the recommendations agreed upon by the CNV Team."
