Topic Name: 10th World Jamboree in 1959
Topic Description: Hi I was one of 116 scouts from the whole of the U.K (England) who attended the 10th World Jamboree in 1959. I have many fond memories of my three week stay in your Country, at the Jamboree and afterwards in Manila with an American Family. We used to have breakfast at the Yacht Club and at 17 years old we were driven around in Chauffeur Driven cars. My memories of the actual camp site and surrounding areas are good. Do you know any scouts who attended that Jamboree, Are many scouts from the Philippines coming to the 21st Jamboree in England, if yes can you tell me what sub-camp they will be in as I will be visiting this Jamboree on the 31st July 2007.

Hello, My family would appreciate if you can send some pictures of the philippine contigent of the 10th world jamboree in makiling. My father ISMAEL P. BAUTISTA was the quarter master of their group and he passed away last sept 21, 2009. we''d really appreciate if someone send us a copy of the pictures. My father was from U.S.T.... This would be a great christmas gift for our family. Thanks in advance.

Hello Scouter Roger, Well I''m Jumong from Philippines.. My Scoutmaster was grade 7th I think when he was joined in 10th world jamboree at Mt.Makiling, laguna last 1959.. Afterwards, he told me that There are so many delegates from other countries.. One of those are United Kingdom.. But He can''t join for this coming 2007 World Jamboree at Essex.. Anyway Thanks..
